Meet Dr. Kevin Eagan

A Foxboro native, Dr Eagan graduated from Foxboro High School in 2011; earned his bachelor’s degree (BA) from Williams College and his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) and Master of Public Health (MPH) degrees from Columbia University.

At Columbia, Dr. Eagan studied as a HRSA-funded Training Fellow for the Care of Underserved Populations, conducting research in population oral health, and received an advanced professional degree in public health. His unique professional education also included two years of medical school coursework in addition to training in general dentistry and was awarded a scholarship for “excellence in preventative dentistry and community health.”

He then completed an intensive residency in advanced general dentistry at the Providence VA Medical Center to learn innovative techniques in full & partial mouth reconstructions, receiving commendations from the hospital leadership for detecting cancers and treating life-threatening infections.

Dr. Eagan’s clinical philosophy is centered on the principle of evidence-based practice, from which he works to integrate oral health with whole-body physical and mental health. He believes in preventing and minimizing the use of invasive dental procedures while always maximizing his patients’ comfort. Every patient is treated like a member of his family.

He is a member of the American Dental Association and Massachusetts Dental Society, and he is a fellow of the American Academy of the History of Dentistry.

Outside of his clinical profession, Dr. Eagan is a respected musician in the region, performing the Highland bagpipes, French horn, and various folk instruments. He also enjoys keeping tropical freshwater fish.
